Visit Orlando Colombian Campaign aims to make Colombian's Smile

Visit Orlando has expanded its "Orlando Makes Me Smile" campaign to the Colombian market to maintain the current surge of visitors and to continue the increase in the number of travelers coming to the United States. The initiative is supported by Brand USA, SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Universal Orlando Resort and Walt Disney World Resort and our travel partners: Avianca Airlines, Avianca Tours, Aviatur, Global, Bestravel, Orientour, Viajes Chapinero and Union de Representaciones. The integrated campaign includes consumer advertising, promotions, travel trade activity, tour operator partnerships and publicity initiatives. The campaign will feature messages in Colombia's leading newspaper, Viajar magazine, and Caracol TV. Orlando will also be featured on Caracol TV's prime television show "Dia a Dia," with segments highlighting Orlando as the premier choice in travel destinations.

With a number of expansions taking place in Orlando this year, there are many new and exciting experiences to choose from available to Columbian travelers. SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment will be debut their newest one-of-a-kind attraction in the spring-Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin opening May 24. Universal Orlando Resort also has plans in place for an exciting new expansion opening this summer, Transformers: The Ride-3D. The recently unveiled Fantasyland at Walt Disney World Resorts has something for everyone with many new interactive attractions bringing our favorite characters to life.
